William Wixley - The Bliss William Wixley feat. Sharon Kips - Dove

Written by William Wixley. Produced, recorded and mixed by Pim van 't Slot/Blind Bull music productions. Mastered by Sander van der Heide.

In 2006 singer-songwriter William Wixley released his debut E.P. called 'The Bliss'. Within the process that Blind Bull designed especially for this production, William could focus his energy on writing songs. Blind Bull monitored the production process from an overall point of view.
This song uses a new production method called 'homogeneous hybrid mixing'. The result is a homogeneous mix between the recorded acoustic guitar, the vocals and the beats that were programmed by Blind Bull. Nice detail: X-factor winner Sharon Kips participates in this production.

Linked - Kickin Linked - Kickin'

Written by Geert van Hoesel. Programmed by Tim Egmond. Produced and recorded by Pim van 't Slot/Blind Bull music productions, Eric Coumans and Tim Egmond. Mixed and mastered by Pim van 't Slot/Blind Bull music productions.

The purpose of this project was to realize new studio material for a band called 'Linked'. As Linked consists of a drummer, a vocalist and a gear-jay, a hybrid production between recorded drums, vocals and programmed sounds is the result.
The drums were recorded in the Wisseloord studio 2 in Hilversum, the Netherlands. Heavy processing in the mixing stage by Blind Bull was needed to create an impact that suited the electronic feel of the song. Besides, it could certainly use some impact to withstand the heavy lyrics written by Geert...

David Bowie - Space Oddity David Bowie - Space Oddity

Written by David Bowie. Produced by Pim van 't Slot/Blind Bull music productions, Tim Egmond, Michael Lampe, Arjan Raatgever. Mastered by Pim van 't Slot/Blind Bull music productions.

Blind Bull was part of a working group for a Composition & Music Production course. The assignment was to produce a cover of David Bowie's 'Space Oddity'. This song had to be translated into a triphop version similar to the song 'Angel' of Massive Attack.
A production process in which the strengths of the team members complemented each other, lead to this result.

Gospel Boulevard - Lean on Me Gospel Boulevard - Amazing Grace

Words & Music: traditional. Produced by André Bijleveld. Recorded by André Honders, Robert Riekerk and Ralph van Manen. Mixed by Pim van 't Slot/Blind Bull music productions. Mastered by Sander van der Heide.

Gospel Boulevard is a black gospel choir in The Netherlands, consisting of some very good singers in combination with a funky band. Blind Bull was asked to mix their second album called 'Lean on me'. A transparent mix was created in order to give the choir the space it needed, maintain a big sound for the band and have room left for the loops and percussion.

Barefood - Retarded Barefood - Retarded

Produced by Pim van 't Slot/Blind Bull music productions.

Once upon a time seven music makers lived together in Hilversum, The Netherlands. The idea arose to produce an album in one weekend. After a kickoff diner and brainstorm session they started producing songs in various styles. This lead to a Metal, Reggae, Country, Electro, Hip-Hop, Dutch folk album with some weird interludes.
This interlude is called 'Retarded' and is created by Blind Bull. Songs created by other members of the Bare Food collective can be found on www.bare-food.com and www.myspace.com/barefood. Most of those songs are mixed and mastered by Blind Bull.
